These are some of the mini coding projects done during the 12-week General Assembly web development bootcamp.

Snake game:

A minimalist snake game made using HTML5 Canvas and Javascript.

Instructions: Use the up, down, left, right keys to control the snake’s direction. Eat the red apple to gain points. Eat the blue food to activate different obstacles. The more levels you activate, the greater the score multiplier.

Sound courtesy of DJ Lincey.

Play it here.

Natural Event Mapper:

A simple front-end project that utilises NASA’s Earth Observatory Natural Event Tracker (EONET) API. The map was done using mapbox which maps out events based on the geoJSON coordinates called from the external API. Built using AJAX and JQuery.

Check it out here.
